The Tokyo Olympics is scheduled to begin about 2 months from now, and Jarman International CEO Ruth Marie Jarman had the opportunity recently to hear a speech by Seiko Hashimoto, the President of the Games.
Rather than focusing on whether or not the Olympics will actually take place this year, or the uncertainty around the event due to the pandemic, Hashimoto shared her personal connection to the Olympics, its symbolic link to the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the thinking behind what the Olympic committee is planning to do now in a proactive and positive way.
