Benjamin Boas serves the Japanese Government’s Cabinet Office as a Cool Japan Producer and is the author of three books on Japan. His writing has been published by organizations including The Japan Times, The Yomiuri Shimbun, and Studio Ghibli. Benjamin provides advice on the Japanese market for companies all over the world, including Netflix, HBO Max, and Kickstarter. He regularly appears in television programs on NHK World and lectures at universities in Japan and the United States. Benjamin is proud to be an official tourism ambassador for Tokyo’s Nakano ward.
