Iconic Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and was designated by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in June 2013. Mount Fuji and the Fuji Five Lakes (Fujigoko) are among the most popular destinations for international travelers in Japan. In commemoration of the first anniversary, Deep Japan publishes first official electronic guidebook, “Mt. FUJI Travel Guide“.

This guidebook is illustrated with beautiful photos and covers a wide range of topics: local foods, festivals, onsen (hot spring), popular sights, superb view points, shrines, hotels and transportation. Such an sight-seeing promotion endeavor has no previous example or precedent or parallel. American magazine Food & Wine, recently published an article 7 Reasons Why Tokyo is the New Paris. The article is aimed at trying to highlight reasons Americans should consider a trip to Japan. The opening line of their article reads, “Without question, Tokyo is one of the world’s greatest food cities”. The author Alex Vallis continues on to state, “Tokyo is better than Paris” and then lists seven reasons to support this statement.

We would certainly have to agree that Japan, including Tokyo is a pretty fantastic place to visit! If you need convincing of this or you would just like some help planning a trip to Japan, you will find many helpful articles on travel website Deep Japan. Deep Japan – Staying Connected While Travelling Japan

While free WiFi access can be difficult to find when travelling in Japan, an easy solution is to rent a pocket WiFi device throughout your stay. Haruzou from Deep Japan writes about a service called PuPuRu International, which will deliver you a pocket WiFi device to the airport or your hotel. The rental for this device is very cost effective with the added bonus of an English support line. You need to ensure you order the device three days before you need it and then when you are finished with it, simply place it in an envelope provided and drop it in a post box. So for around ¥400 a day, you can have access to the internet whenever and wherever you like while travelling in Japan.
