There is finally a JR rail pass that ANY international in Japan (regardless of visa status) can purchase, which will allow you to explore anywhere from the northernmost reaches of Aomori to the hot spring resorts of Shizuoka, just south of Tokyo for three consecutive days!

-Period of use: Until Feb 28, 2021

–Sales period: Until Feb 26, 2021

–Price: 12,000 yen (6,000 yen for children)

–Who can use the pass: Customers holding a passport issued by a country other than Japan

–Validity: Unlimited rides on shinkansen, limited express trains and local trains on JR East lines under the jurisdiction of JR East for three consecutive days during the set period
