Jarman International is excited to share that Ken Guilfoyle, CPA of BDO Tax Co. and global tax coach, will once again serve as headline sponsor for the April JI Charity Golf Cup at EastWood Country Club. This is the second month in a row that Ken is supporting the event in this capacity, and it’s thanks to people and organizations like him that we can keep providing this opportunity for golfers to contribute to Japan and the world.

As the go-to tax preparer for people filing US taxes from Japan, Ken Guilfoyle serves many US citizens in Japan with the tax filing required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). While this keeps him busy, he still makes time to enjoy the great golf at EastWood almost every month.

In addition to our usual beneficiary, Mirai no Mori, which seeks to empower marginalized youth in the outdoors, this month’s JI Charity Cup will also support TELL – a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing effective support and counseling services to Japan’s international community and its increasing mental health care needs. The 3,000 yen or more collected on our group day on April 29th will go directly and fully to TELL. Being at the club to support the event in person also helps Jarman continue its monthly donations to Mirai no Mori.

We like to focus on how we can support children, and this month we will be sending support to children and teachers in Lebanon through REI. The Charity Cup serves as a means for avid golfers to contribute to Japan and the world. It feels great to get out on the links, meet new friends, enjoy great food, and try to do our part to help those in need.

It is because of people like Ken who help make all of this happen.
