Although summer is usually the season for fireworks in Japan, the Fujisawa Enoshima Fireworks Festival breaks with the trend and is set to dazzle audiences this fall with more than 3,000 shots of colorful fireworks on October 15, 2016. Considering the earlier sunset, the festival has a start time of 6:00 p.m., making a day trip to Enoshima Island from Tokyo a reasonable proposition.

Fujisawa Enoshima Fireworks Festival
Date: Saturday, October 15, 2016 (in the event of rain, the event will be moved to Sunday, October 16, 2016)
